Multi Triad Cable
Multi triad cables consist of groups of insulated conductors that are first twisted into triads before being cabled together in the same form as multi conductor cables. There are a wide variety of multi triad cable constructions available including unshielded, overall shielded, individually shielded triads, or even individually shielded triads with an overall shield.
When considering a multi triad cable, it is important to consider the possibility of crosstalk. Shielded triad cables eliminate crosstalk with 100% individually isolated shields over each triad within the cable. For applications where increased physical strength and/or superior shielding from electrostatic interference is required, ask about Multicable’s MultiShield shielding.
